TURKISH BRITISH ASSOCIATION (Citizens
Advice Bureau) 2008 – to date
A member of the association in the Aegean
region of Turkey, giving advice and helping mainly foreign nationals
with their issues as a voluntary advisor.
MARKETING and ENTERTAINMENTS MANAGER
Since my arrival in Turkey, I was
fortunate to open and manage my own bar with rewarding results. It gave
me the great pleasure of meeting so many nice people, of which I still
socialize with to date. The unfortunate side was, due to new management
at the complex, they took of the bar which I had previously opened and
run. Since then many doors have opened along with professional
experience. Currently marketing for “CLUB ZAYA” at 5 star hotel and
promoting events along with the organization of shows and disco’s.
Recently helped open a Reggae/Rock bar which was a fantastic night and
is growing more popular by the day. Occasionally run and manage “The
Wiganer Pub” for some good friends, as and when required, but often call
in and help out.
SMR Limited 2007 – to date
SMR Ltd is my own legal company which I
registered in Turkey to give me a work permit. It is difficult to find
work for foreign nationals as permits are rare and so setting up my own
company was the best option. My company markets products globally,
mainly properties or investment projects. Since being here for 2 years
permanently, I have been involved with Tourism, Hotels, Flights,
Excursions and many other related issues. I have also studied basic
Turkish law and work as a volunteer for a CAB type organization on a
part time basis. My involvement with the general public is un-countable
and the demand is on a very high level.
RTM TROPHIES 1996 - 2007
Director my own company for 10 years
within the UK where I manufactured and engraved Trophies and many times
had the great pleasure of presenting individual winners at organized
events. This also included staffing, book keeping, accounts, stock
and dealing at a high level of confidence with clients on a daily
basis.
B.C.B.C (Bridgend County Borough

'A' level Outreach worker
NVQ level 3 Basic Counseling skills
'A' level Disability awareness,

i.e. music
As you can see my qualifications are
varied and to be honest I think there is probably a few I have forgot to
mention. As a drugs officer/counselor and an Outreach worker working the
streets with homeless, drug users, crime) my involvement was at the
heart of the criminal system. Working along side the police, probation
service, young offenders institutes and of course schools where I would
give open speeches and advice.
Additional Information
I also have over 10 years engineering
experience from Management, Supervision, Quality Control to
operating/setting manual or CNC type machinery.
Although currently residing in Turkey, I
am prepared to relocate if some expenses are met and accommodation is
available at a reasonable rate.
